After House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's (D-CA) announced an impeachment inquiry against President Biden, the White House responded that Biden cannot be impeached as he is "mentally unfit to stand trial".
"This is absolute elder abuse," a White House spokesperson told Cantaloupe News. "This is a President who cannot speak complete sentences or remember where his hands are. Most mornings he even has to be reminded that he is the President. It is typical of the Republicans to abuse an old feeble man in this way."
Questioned as to what affect this will have on the 2024 Presidential election, the spokesperson responded that President Biden is the most cognitive President in United States history and is doing his job competently. Unfortunately we were unable to ask any further questions as the White House was just then put on lockdown as Biden had disrobed and was walking the halls naked.
As to when the impeachment proceedings will actually take place, an aide to McCarthy said that they expect the inquiry to start in late 2039.
