Migrants flood the US border with Mexico
In response to Americans angry about the recent influx of migrants via the Mexican border, the White House has announced that it plans to combat the issue by hiring 200,000 illegal immigrants as border agents.
President Biden made the announcement today, saying that the next 200,000 people to cross the border will be handed badges and guns and told to protect their new homeland.
"These fellas coming over the border, they are young strapping military-aged men," the President told reporters. "They are exactly what we are looking for. You can rest assured that our country will be in good hands with these guys protecting it."
This announcement garnered much praise from Democrats nationwide, with New York City Mayor Eric Adams applauding the decision.
"It's great to finally have someone tackling this problem," Adams said. "New York will follow suit by releasing all currently incarcerated criminals and making them police officers."
It has yet to be seen what could possibly go wrong with this plan.
